Delete your account

How to do it in the app

1. Open Pyron and tap the Profile tab at the bottom.
2. At the top, tap the Settings section.
3. Scroll all the way down and open Account.
4. Tap Delete account there.
5. Confirm with Delete for good.

After that, the account is gone. You will be signed out and can no longer sign in with the same login details.

What is deleted

The following disappear along with the account:

• your login (email address or the link to Apple)
• your profile: username, rank, level, XP, title, crest and frame
• all stored step values — hourly values as well as daily values
• your friendships and pending invitations
• your club membership, your teams and pending club invitations
• your achievements, medals and Flames
• your device token for notifications

What remains — and why

Three things survive the deletion. We state all three here, because otherwise “everything will be deleted” would not be true.

Your rating and its entries

What you achieved in rounds and tournaments remains in the standings — your rating account and the individual entries in it. In the tables, you will then appear as “Unknown”; your username, your profile and everything personal are gone.

The reason is the same as for the paragraph below: a round that has been settled and from which a result later disappears would no longer have been a round for the other participants.

Other players' ongoing competitions

You disappear from the ongoing round, but the round itself continues with the remaining participants, including their results. Anything else would punish the other players for someone having left.

Anonymous usage events

We measure how often rounds start, are scored or fail. These events are linked to a pseudonymous identifier, not to your player ID, and contain no step counts and no names. Once your account has been deleted, they can no longer be attributed to you — they are then anonymous within the meaning of the GDPR and are therefore retained.

Where we are legally obliged to retain data — for example tax-relevant records relating to a subscription — the data concerned remains stored for the duration of the retention period and is not used for anything else. More details can be found in the Privacy Policy.

This does not end an active Pyron subscription

This only applies if you have taken out the Pyron subscription. The subscription runs through your Apple ID or your Google account, not through us. If you delete your account without cancelling first, the store will keep renewing it and keep charging you. You have to cancel there:

1. On the iPhone: open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Pyron and tap Cancel Subscription
2. On Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture at the top right, tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select Pyron and tap Cancel subscription

If you can no longer get into the app

If you no longer have the device or cannot get into your account, write to us at info@neurolytix.de. We will then delete the account for you. So that we do not do this for the wrong person just because someone asks, please write from the email address you registered with and state your username. We will get back to you within one month, as provided for in Art. 12(3) GDPR — as a rule, much sooner.
